Old Ritual Bowl West Papua (New Guinea)
Authentic, ritually used bowl with spectacular carved motifs. thebowl shows deep patina from long use and ritual handling, carrying the aura of age and tradition. The motifs are bold, dynamic, and full of symbolic meaning, reflecting the rich spiritual life of the people who created and used them.
Such bowls were not only functional but also sacred, used in ceremonial contexts to serve food or offerings. Their weathered surfaces and striking designs make them powerful collector’s pieces with strong presence.
Provenance: Field-collected, Papua New Guinea
Condition: Old, ritually used, with rich patina
