Baromètre mural anéroïde en résine moulée imitation bronze doré, style néo-classique ou rococo revisité, avec thermomètre intégré dans le cartouche supérieur. Cadran circulaire en laiton patiné, échelle barométrique en millimètres de mercure (690 à 810 mmHg), indications en français « Pluie », « Variable », « Beau Temps », « Sec », « Orage », aiguille centrale móvil et curseur de rappel. Couronnement orné de volutes et coquilles stylisées, base festonnée avec découpes. Marque « G. Dido » gravée ou moulée (fabricant français ou belge spécialisé dans les instruments météo décoratifs du milieu XXe siècle). Provenance : collection privée belge.
État : bon pour son âge, résine intacte sans fissure ni casse, dorure avec patine naturelle et usure légère (quelques points d’oxydation discrète et frottements sur les reliefs, typiques), cadran net sans décoloration majeure, aiguille et mécanisme fonctionnels (non testé récemment mais mouvement libre visible), thermomètre à mercure complet sans fuite apparente ni cassure du tube. Poids : 800 g. Dimensions : hauteur 32 cm, largeur 17 cm, profondeur 6 cm.

Wall aneroid barometer in moulded resin imitating gilt bronze, neo-classical or revived rococo style, with integrated thermometer in the upper cartouche. Circular brass-coloured dial, barometric scale in millimetres of mercury (690 to 810 mmHg), French weather indications “Pluie”, “Variable”, “Beau Temps”, “Sec”, “Orage”, central moving needle and setting hand. Crest ornamented with volutes and stylized shells, scalloped base with cut-outs. Marked “G. Dido” (French or Belgian maker specialised in decorative weather instruments, mid-20th century). Provenance: private Belgian collection.
Condition: good for its age, resin intact without cracks or breaks, gilt with natural patina and light wear (some discreet oxidation spots and rubs on reliefs, typical), clean dial without major fading, needle and mechanism responsive (not recently tested but free movement visible), mercury thermometer complete without apparent leak or tube break.
