Unità/Braccia, is a modular and sculptural wall object, a shelf, inspired by the historical measurement unit, the dimension of the arm. The self assembly shelf can be combined by composing multiple units to create a larger library. The objects dimensions refers to the old florentine units for measuring that was used during the renaissance.
The freedom of composition defines Unitá, to make your own unit.

Natural pigments stained on birch plywood.
One unite shelf can be combined with multiple unit to compose library shelving system.
