Get your hands on this serviced 1969 Seiko Cronos J14021 manual wind watch with 21 jewels, Diashock, original patinated dial, new crystal, stainless steel case, new leather strap, and 3-month guarantee.
Model History:
The Seiko Cronos line represents an important chapter in Seiko’s pre-Grand Seiko development, produced during the late 1950s through the 1960s as a higher-grade hand-wound dress watch series. Positioned above standard Seiko models, the Cronos line featured refined case designs and improved movements, often incorporating technologies that would later influence Grand Seiko production. The reference J14021, produced in April 1969, belongs to the final generation of Cronos watches before the line was phased out. Powered by a Seikosha manual-wind movement with Diashock protection and 21 jewels, this model emphasizes precision and durability. Its minimalist dial with long applied indices and clean proportions reflects the restrained Japanese design philosophy of the era, making it a highly elegant and collectible vintage piece.
