Model History:
The Hamilton Khaki 9415A is a direct descendant of the military field watches Hamilton supplied to the U.S. armed forces. The reference 9415A was produced in the late 1970s to early 1980s, most commonly around 1978–1983, and represents one of the last true military-spec hand-wound Hamilton field watches made in the USA before production transitioned fully to Switzerland.
With its matte black dial, full 12/24-hour layout, highly legible Arabic numerals and bead-blasted case, the 9415A follows strict military utility principles: maximum readability, anti-reflective case finishing, and robust simplicity. It is powered by a hand-wound mechanical movement, reinforcing its authentic military tool-watch character. This reference has become increasingly collectible due to its historical relevance and pure field-watch aesthetics.
