Ο Έσερ was fascinated by mathematics, perspective, and the concept of the impossible object, often inspired by geometric figures from mathematicians like Roger Penrose. An interesting fact is that Escher, who had no formal training in math, corresponded with scientists and mathematicians who admired how his art visualized complex concepts of infinity and paradox.
