01. ACCA XF, Qing Dynasty, Guangxu Tongbao, Small Coin, Baofu Mint, Regular Script/Short Strokes/Connected Dots, Rare Mint Number. During the reign of Emperor Guangxu, Empress Dowager Cixi controlled the government. China experienced numerous natural disasters, the failure of the Hundred Days' Reform, the intervention of foreign powers, and the beginning of the Japanese invasion, leading to a decline in China's national strength. Emperor Guangxu died at the age of 38. Although the country was weak, Guangxu's coins are very beautiful. The relatively small coin designs led many collectors to believe they were less valuable, but some Guangxu versions are rarer than those of other emperors and are quite expensive. This particular coin was minted by the Baofu Mint in remote Fujian Province. It features regular script, short strokes, and a unique connected dot style. Collectors should not miss this opportunity.
