This tea bowl features a sculptural silhouette based on the theme of "Forms of Time." The work explores the relationship between the strength and delicacy of clay, reflecting the artist's pursuit of texture and form while maintaining the functionality of a tea tool.

Artist Profile:
Lin Xiangjun was born in Taiwan in 1953 and graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts in 1978, majoring in ceramics. She has been primarily active in the Nitten exhibition, receiving the Special Selection (Tokusen) award in 2009 and 2012. Her work has also been recognized at the Japan Modern Crafts Exhibition, the Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition, and the Women’s Association of Ceramic Art. Her creations capture the vitality of nature—such as waterfalls, ocean swells, roads, and the earth—through voluminous forms and cut-clay expressions.
