Koji Kasatani (born 1964) is a Japanese artist.
Μετά την αποφοίτηση από τη σχολή τέχνης στη Φλωρεντία, Ιταλία,
μελετώντας ιταλικές τεχνικές κεραμικής.
Μετά την επιστροφή στην Ιαπωνία, ξεκίνησα να προκαλώ τον εαυτό μου να δημιουργώ έργα που υπερβαίνουν τα όρια της κεραμικής.
Όταν βρήκα κάποια υπολείμματα μπανάνας, αγαπημένα του πατέρα μου, στην κουζίνα, πείστηκα ότι αυτό αποτελεί τέχνη και από τότε δημιουργώ έργα με θέμα τη μπανάνα για περίπου 18 χρόνια.
