Koji Kasatani (γεννημένος το 1964) είναι Ιαπωνικός καλλιτέχνης.
Μετά την αποφοίτηση από τη σχολή τέχνης στη Φλωρεντία, Ιταλία, μελέτησα ιταλικές τεχνικές κεραμικής.
Αφού επέστρεψα στην Ιαπωνία, άρχισα να προκαλώ τον εαυτό μου δημιουργώντας έργα που ξεπερνούσαν τα όρια της κεραμικής.
Όταν βρήκα λίγα κομμάτια μπανάνας, αγαπημένα του πατέρα μου, στην κουζίνα, ήμουν πεπεισμένος ότι αυτό ήταν τέχνη, και από τότε δημιουργώ έργα με θέμα την μπανάνα για περίπου 18 χρόνια.
