L’artista Hestela Charbonnier develops a painterly research that moves between the floral world and the figurative dimension, creating a continuous dialogue between nature and the human being. His output ranges from botanical compositions full of energy and matter to portraits and figures where a deep emotional sensitivity emerges.
In floral paintings, color is the absolute protagonist: dynamic brushstrokes, material stratifications and luminous contrasts transform the flower into a symbol of vitality, transformation and fragility. The shapes expand on the canvas with an instinctive yet conscious gesture, giving life to intense and engaging compositions.
In figurative works, instead, the artist explores interiority through postures, glances and suspended atmospheres. The figures are never simple representations, but become silent narratives, charged with emotion and psychological depth.
A common element to both explorations is the attention to matter and color as primary expressive tools. Whether it is a flower in full explosion or a figure immersed in its own thoughts, every work reflects a tension between energy and delicacy, between gesture and introspection
