Elegant Pair of Dutch Silver Salt Cellars with Cut Crystal Liners and Matching Spoons – W. Burger, Haarlem (1921–1947)

This refined set of two salt cellars perfectly reflects the elegance of early 20th-century Dutch tableware. Crafted with silver mounts by the respected silversmith W. Burger of Haarlem, active between 1921 and 1947, these pieces embody both quality craftsmanship and timeless design.

Each salt cellar features a beautifully diamond-cut crystal bowl, richly faceted to catch and reflect light, creating a sparkling effect on the table. The silver mounts are finished with a delicate beaded (pearl) rim, adding a subtle decorative refinement typical of classic European silverwork.

The set includes two matching silver salt spoons, each finely proportioned and elegant in form, also hallmarked with the Dutch sword mark indicating 833 silver purity.
