Model History:
The Seikomatic-R line was introduced in the mid-1960s as an upper-tier evolution of the Seikomatic family, offering higher jewel counts, improved finishing, and Seiko’s early hand-winding automatic calibres. The Calibre 8305 represented a significant step in movement refinement, combining automatic winding with manual winding capability and a smooth, reliable date mechanism.
This reference, 8305-8010, produced in January 1966, features the clean, elegant case design typical of Seiko’s early dress watches, paired with a beautifully restrained silver sunburst dial.

Recently serviced and running accurately. The stainless-steel case is in very nice vintage condition with sharp lines and only light signs of age.The silver sunburst dial is clean and well-preserved with only minimal discolouration visible near the rim. A new plexi and a new leather strap have been fitted. The watch is offered with a 3-month functionality guarantee.
