Decorative French ornamental grille / wall ornament in an elegant Rococo or Louis XV Revival style, possibly dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The openwork design is richly detailed with floral motifs, scrolling foliage and a central female mascaron topped with a shell ornament — characteristic elements of the French Napoleon III period.
