EN:An exceptional and extremely rare collector's item: Alfred Dunhill luxury vintage lighter, Rollalite Standard model, manufactured in England (London) in the 1940s.The mechanism is the classic petrol (oil) one, prior to the introduction of gas models in 1956. The body of the lighter is silver-plated and features the refined classic geometric "Barley" finish, extremely well preserved.
Historical particularity of great rarity:On the side, the lighter bears an original metal tax seal applied in the interwar / post-war period by the customs authorities of the Kingdom of Belgium. The seal features the official coat of arms (the rampant Belgian Lion) and the clearly legible circular inscription: "MINIST. FINANC." (Ministère des Finances). This luxury tax mark certifies the payment of customs duties at the time of import and adds a special historical documentary value to this specimen.
