Most of thems are franked with TAAF ( French South and Antarctic Territories) stamps and sent by airmail of posted at sea.
Some registered, express, taxed at destination.
The most important are:
1) registerd cover sent from the Terre Adélie to Germany on 1958. January 10th and franked with the very scarce 100 Francs of the 1956 Penguins series
2) 2 covers from the the French TAAF/IPEV supply and research vessel operating between Hobart and Terre Adélie
3) express cover via airmail from Dumont d'Urville, Terre Adélie to Germany
4) cover sent on 1962 , Dicember 4th from the Iles St. Paul Amsterdam to the North Pole 9 Russian station via Moscow , SO FROM THE SOUTH POLE TO THE NORTH POLE
5) Cover franked with the complete series 1977 Marine Mammals

Representative and elusive unrepeatable thematic collection

Following a recent change in international sector regulations, specifically Articles 18 and 19 of the Universal Postal Convention, starting from January 1, 2026, it will no longer be possible to send items (goods with or without commercial value) using International Registered and International Insured services, which will continue to be used exclusively for sending documents.
It means that starting from January 1st, 2026, I will ship abroad only by "POSTE DELIVERY INTERNATIONAL STANDARD" starting from 25,80€ without insurance
