Vova Titov is an Estonian born artist with a degree in interior design from the prestigious Herzen University in St. Petersburg. His paintings, sculptures and drawings are all one of a kind, hand-crafted and have been sold internationally, with some making their way into the homes of Hollywood directors. His art is represented by the Saatchi Gallery, with regular auctions on Catawiki.
"Copper Wood" is a three-dimensional wall relief assembled from natural wood slices and blocks, arranged in a black frame. The wood surface is covered with a copper-bronze patina that shimmers in the light and highlights the concentric growth rings of each element a natural pattern that repeats and never coincides. The composition is built on a rhythmic alternation of rectangular forms of varying scale: large blocks define the architectural framework, while smaller ones fill the gaps, creating a dense, almost musical structure.
The work is suitable for residential and commercial spaces. A certificate of authenticity is included.
