The rusty PORTAL is a modern chandelier that dramatically changes its form depending on the viewer’s point of observation. Steel objects covered in natural rust change their position with gusts of wind, creating a constantly new composition. The lamp’s form resembles the mesmerizing dance of industrial butterflies. The sculptural character of the PORTAL lamp is meant to stimulate the viewer’s imagination.

The geometric objects that make up the chandelier are precisely laser-cut from thin steel, then subjected to a natural rusting process and protected by a transparent matte coating to prevent crumbling. The PORTAL rust chandelier showcases various shades of orange, copper, bronze, and gold, reflecting the colors of autumn.

The rusty PORTAL chandelier, like other Gie El products, is made to order and is entirely produced in Poland. It aims to evoke emotions because it is created from emotions: the emotions of designers, craftsmen, and others involved in its creation.
