Name: Royal Copenhagen Gradient Blue Wild Rose Porcelain Vase
Artist: Royal Copenhagen Painter (No.2699 hand-inscribed in green on base)
Origin: Royal Copenhagen, Denmark
Dimensions: H 14.5 × W 10.3 × D 6.6 cm (5.71 × 4.06 × 2.60 in)
Weight: 310 g
Material: High-fired hard-paste porcelain
Period: Mid-Late 20th Century, circa 1960–1980
Handcrafted by painters from Denmark’s prestigious Royal Copenhagen porcelain factory, this flattened short-neck vase features gradient cobalt glaze transitioning smoothly from milky white at the neck to rich deep cobalt blue at the base with a glossy polished finish. The front is hand-painted with two pale wild roses, thorny twigs and dark green foliage in lifelike shaded brushwork; every floral motif is an exclusive handmade piece.
The base bears the brand’s iconic crown-and-three-blue-waves factory mark, alongside the green handwritten painter reference No.2699.
Only faint natural wear on the foot rim; no chips, cracks or restorations, excellent condition relative to its age.
