Original and very rare lot USSR Awards for Afghanistan. + Document with Signed by Michael Gorbachev.

● Medal "To the Internationalist Warrior for Afghanistan"
Leningrad Mint.
Hot colored enamel, hallmark, brass, on the screw.
UNC Condition [ not worn/ not circulated]. Old stock.
● Medal 15 years since the withdrawal of Soviet troops from the DRA (Democratic Republic of Afghanistan)
Date: February 15, 1989 (date of withdrawal)
On the obverse of the medal is an armored personnel carrier with the USSR flag, and behind it is the famous bridge connecting the two countries.
The medals were awarded to veterans who participated in the fighting.
