Technics SL-1500 Direct Drive Turntable – Vintage Manual Player System (Sister Model to SL-1600 / SL-1300)
This is a Technics SL-1500 direct-drive manual turntable, part of the legendary Technics direct-drive lineage that revolutionized hi-fi audio in the 1970s. The SL-1500 shares its rugged direct-drive motor and tonearm engineering with the famous SL-1200 series, offering exceptional speed stability, low wow and flutter, and the smooth, torque-rich performance Technics is renowned for.
Featuring 33 1/3 and 45 RPM speeds with independent pitch controls for each speed, and a strobe-illuminated platter for precise speed verification. It is fitted with a static-balanced S-shaped tonearm; the manufacturer's reference replacement stylus for this model is the EPS-270ED. The unit comes complete with its hinged dust cover, an original RCA phono cable with ground wire, and a copy of the original Technics operating instructions for the SL-1500/SL-150.
A wonderful opportunity for vinyl enthusiasts and collectors to own a piece of Technics' iconic direct-drive heritage—an excellent foundation for a home listening setup or a restoration project.
