Original Vintage Movie Poster ($140 \times 200\text{ cm}$): "I malfattori" (Los Atracadores) - First Edition 1962
Item Description:
Extremely rare and impressive original Italian movie poster in the large 2-sheet format (approx. $140 \times 200\text{ cm}$ / $55 \times 79\text{ inches}$, printed in two separate sections designed to be joined for display) for the first Italian edition of the gritty drama/noir masterpiece "I malfattori" (Los Atracadores), originally released in 1961 and distributed in Italy in 1962.
Directed by the acclaimed Spanish filmmaker Francisco Rovira Beleta, this film offers a raw, striking look into juvenile delinquency and urban film noir, and was officially presented in competition at the Berlin International Film Festival.
The sensational vintage artwork bears the unmistakable signature of Maro (Rodolfo Marcucci). The graphic beautifully spotlights a stunning, alluring Agnès Spaak in a sensual red dress in the foreground, while a violent confrontation unfolds in a dark alleyway lit by streetlamps in the background, perfectly capturing the dramatic essence and high tension of the film.

Condition Report
Collector's Note: The poster is in Very Good to Fine (VG/F) vintage condition. It is exceptionally well-preserved considering its giant format and the fragile nature of 1960s theatrical billboard paper.
Folds: Features standard archive/distribution fold lines. The fold lines are very clean, stable, and free from heavy wear or separation.
Edges & Corners: Margins are beautifully preserved. Very minor, negligible pinholes from original cinema lobby display are present at the extreme corners, completely authentic and typical for a genuine period piece.
Color: Outstanding. The colors remain incredibly vivid, deep, and saturated; the bright red of the dress and the dark tones of the alleyway perfectly retain their original visual impact.
Reverse: Clean.
A monumental piece of cinema poster art, highly rare to find in such excellent condition. It holds immense decorative and collectible value, making it perfect for professional linen-backing or framing in large spaces and private galleries.
