Ένα ήσυχο, ψηλό έξι-πανέλ καμωμένο από κινούτα/μπουτζι? (byôbu) 屏風 (folding screen) με τοπίο χειμώνα και έναν συνάθροιση λευκών πελεκάνων 白鷺 (shirasagi).
Along the edge of a tranquil lake, numerous white herons wade through the shallow water, while a larger flock descends from above. Overhanging the shoreline is an ancient weeping willow 柳 (yanagi), its sweeping branches heavily laden with snow. At its base grow flowering camellias 椿 (tsubaki). The composition is enveloped by dense gold-leaf clouds and softly speckled gold mist
Executed in pigments and ink on mulberry paper with gold leaf. The painting is bordered by two brocade silk trims: a narrow grey inner band and a broad brick-red outer band. The screen is set within a black lacquered wooden frame fitted with protective metal hardware.

Considering its age, the screen is in good condition, with traces of wear and restorations consistent with age on both sides, including overall discolouration. Please refer to the photographs for a clear condition reference.
The folding screen is well suited for mounting flat on a wall and presenting as a single work of art, but can also be displayed as a standalone piece.
When shipped, a certificate of authenticity will be included.
