Dial and Hands
The dial is a visual standout, featuring a highly desirable champagne linen texture created by delicate cross-hatched brushing that catches the light brilliantly. The typography is crisp and fully intact, featuring the classic serif Omega font, the applied gold Omega symbol, and the applied Constellation star above the six o'clock position. The dial furniture consists of applied, faceted gold baton indices that are elevated with black onyx inserts, perfectly matching the original gold baton hands which also feature black center stripes. A framed date aperture sits cleanly at the three o'clock position. Condition-wise, the dial is stunningly preserved. A thorough inspection reveals an exceptionally clean surface, free from distracting spots, stains, or moisture damage. The hands show only the faintest signs of honest, age-consistent oxidation, presenting a remarkably fresh overall appearance.

Case and Crystal
The 35mm C-shape case is an iconic Gerald Genta design, characterized by its integrated lug profile and smooth, continuous curves. This example features a thick gold-capped upper case over a robust stainless steel foundation. The transition between the brushed top surfaces and the polished case flanks remains distinct, showing honest signs of normal vintage wear without heavy polishing or deep gouges. The watch is fitted with an authentic Omega-signed scalloped crown, which remains sharp and easy to operate. Turning the watch over reveals the stainless steel screw-down caseback, centered by the legendary 14k gold Constellation observatory medallion. The medallion is in magnificent condition, with the observatory dome and all eight stars remaining crisp and clearly defined. The watch is fitted with a domed acrylic crystal featuring an internal date magnifier, presenting clearly with only very faint, superficial handling marks visible under close inspection.

Movement
At the heart of this Constellation beats the Omega Caliber 564, a 24-jewel automatic movement officially certified as a chronometer. The movement is a visual delight, retaining its vibrant copper-toned plating and featuring a precision swan-neck regulator. The caliber number and the serial number 31161592 are clearly stamped on the bridges, dating the watch to approximately 1970. The movement is visually immaculate, showing no signs of rotor rub, moisture intrusion, or careless tool marks. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece. The timegrapher results show an impressive +4 to +6 seconds per day with strong amplitude. The movement has been recently serviced and performs strongly.

Strap
The watch is paired with a period-correct brown leather strap featuring an embossed crocodile grain and a gold-tone pin buckle. The strap is in good condition, showing light signs of wear that complement the vintage character of the timepiece, and accommodates a wrist size up to 18 cm comfortably.

Condition
This Constellation is presented in excellent vintage condition. The dial, which is the primary value driver for a watch of this caliber, is remarkably clean and free of flaws. The gold-capped case retains its strong architectural lines and original finishing contrasts. The caseback medallion is wonderfully preserved, and the movement is exceptionally clean and running with outstanding precision. It is a premium example of a highly sought-after reference.
