A famille rose porcelain footed 'WuShuangPu' footed bowl. China, Qing dynasty (大清), 19th century, Tongzhi (1862-1874, 同治) period.

Finely potted in oval shape with wavy rim, supported on a short foot expanding downwards. Painted to the interior with one of Chinese heroes in turquoise robe with blue details sitting next to the rock. Chinese calligraphy (probably hero's name and short story) above the figure. All surrounded by a double iron-red line. Border decorated with flowers and fruits. Exterior with four peaches. Gilt lines at the top-rim and on edges of the the foot. Inscribed to the base with iron red four-character seal mark: 'Painted by Gong Xingchang' (Davison, no. 2502).

Dimensions: height - 4,3 cm; length - 22,7 cm; width - 17,7 cm. Weight - 332 g.
