Mosasaurus is an extinct genus of mosasaurid marine reptiles that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 70–65 million years ago.
It could reach a length of 17–18 meters and weigh 25–30 tons.
Mosasaurus is one of the most famous marine reptiles in the world; its great success is mainly due to its appearance in the Jurassic Park franchise, first appearing in Jurassic World (2015).
This beautiful, large specimen, with part of a jaw, displays its majesty. During fossilization, a fossil shark tooth (see photo) was incorporated into the specimen, making it truly interesting.
