«India Contemporary» curated by Veer Hooda presents a rare opportunity for Collectors and Art lovers in Europe to acquire the original works of highly established Indian Contemporary Artists and create a connection with one of the most vibrant and fast growing art market in the world.

The Auction is curated by internationally acclaimed Indo-European artist - Veer Hooda - in collaboration with the highly esteemed NIV Art Center, New Delhi and available exclusively on Catawiki.

This is the only sculpture available in this auction by the great artist Neeraj Rawal.

Neeraj Rawal is a celebrated Indian contemporary sculptor based in New Delhi. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) at the College of Art, New Delhi, graduating in 2012, and has been engaged in independent studio practice since 2013. Working primarily with Fiber Glass and Resin Rawal's sculptural practice explores themes of memory, human relationships, and collective identity. His work often draws from childhood imagination, everyday gestures, and symbolic narratives, translating emotional and social experiences into both intimate forms and large-scale public sculptures.

He is widely recognized for his ability to combine craftsmanship with conceptual depth, creating works that activate public space and invite dialogue.

His works are at display at highly prestigious institutions in India as the Supreme Court of India (lady justice).

Packaging & Insurance: The painting will be packaged professionally and shipped rolled in a tube. The Artwork is fully insured on the way to the buyer.

Duties and import: The import duties on original artworks to most EU countries is 0%, however some countries may apply an Import VAT of 5-12% and/or clearance fees which has to be paid by the buyer before delivery, this has to be done online in most cases through the service of the delivery company. This is a fairly simple process, however, we will gladly assist if needed with anything.
