La Pilot Capless “Faceted” presented in this batch is kept in very good overall condition, standing out for maintaining an elegant and balanced aesthetics typical of high-end vintage Japanese models. The faceted resin body preserves a deep, uniform shine, with light signs of use consistent with a piece carefully preserved over the years.

The metallic elements show good visual presence, preserving their original finish with very light superficial micro-scratches derived from handling and normal use. The integrated front clip, characteristic of the Capless series, maintains good tension and alignment. The retractable nib operates correctly, offering a smooth and precise action.

The solid 14K gold retractable nib is in good condition, properly aligned and prepared for smooth and reliable writing. The front hood closes properly, helping to preserve the nib’s moisture and preventing premature ink drying.

This is a pen especially appreciated by collectors due to its iconic faceted design, a configuration now discontinued and considerably harder to find than the modern rounded versions of the Pilot Capless.
