The engravings were executed by renowned Victorian engravers including A. Willmore, C. Cousen, E. Brandard and J.T. Armytage after drawings by the celebrated artist W. H. Bartlett.

Condition Very good overall condition for its age. Original decorative publisher's binding with light shelf wear and minor rubbing. Binding sound and firm. Interior clean with occasional light foxing, mainly confined to a few plates and margins, as shown in the photographs. All illustrations are present and in very good condition.
