Serie Conversations.
Conversations γεννήθηκε από μια περιέργεια για τις συναντήσεις. Εκείνες οι στιγμές όταν άνθρωποι από διαφορετικά μέρη, κουλτούρες, εμπειρίες και διαδρομές βρίσκονται στον ίδιο χώρο και, είτε σκόπιμα είτε απροσδόκητα, αρχίζουν να συνδέονται. Κάθε συνάντηση αφήνει ένα αποτύπωμα. Κάθε ανταλλαγή αλλάζει με διακριτικό τρόπο τον τρόπο που βλέπουμε τον κόσμο και τους γύρω μας.
Οι συνθέσεις αντικατοπτρίζουν την πολυπλοκότητα και την ομορφιά της ανθρώπινης συνύπαρξης. Ορισμένες συνδέσεις είναι άμεσες και αβίαστες· άλλες πιο λεπτές, εύθραυστες ή απροσδόκητες. Όπως στη ζωή, κάθε στοιχείο διατηρεί την αυτονομία του ενώ συμβάλλει στη δημιουργία ενός κοινού πράγματος.
Conversations είναι μια γιορτή της ποικιλομορφίας, της ανταλλαγής και της πιθανότητας εύρεσης κοινού εδάφους πέρα από τις διαφορές μας. Είναι μια ανάσα για τους τρόπους με τους οποίους οι ιστορίες μας διασταυρώνονται, διαπλέκονται και συνεχίζουν τα ταξίδιά τους μεταλλασσόμενα από την παρουσία άλλων. Μέσω της γεωμετρίας και του χρώματος, η σειρά προσπαθεί να κάνει ορατό αυτό το αόρατο ύφαλο των σχέσεων, των διαλόγων και των κοινών εμπειριών που μας ενώνει, θυμίζοντας ότι, με έναν τρόπο ή έναν άλλον, είμαστε όλοι μέρος της ίδιας συνέντευξης.

Το έργο μου εντάσσεται στον χώρο της σύγχρονης γεωμετρικήςαφηρημένης τέχνης, όπου η δομή και η διαίσθηση συνυπάρχουν. Μέσα από κύκλους, γραμμές και επιπέδων χρώματος, διερευνώ οπτικές σχέσεις που ταλαντεύονται ανάμεσα σε συντακτική τάξη και στην αυθόρμητη χειρονομία.
Ενώ η πρακτική μου αλληλεπιδρά με τις αρχές της Bauhaus — την τυπική διαύγεια, την ισορροπία και τη χρήση της γεωμετρίας — διακρίνεται από την ενσωμάτωση χειρονομιακών υφών που ενεργοποιούν το αρνητικό χώρο. Αυτές οι υλικές επιφάνειες, δουλεμένες με μεγαλύτερη ελευθερία, παράγουν μια ένταση ανάμεσα στον έλεγχο και την έκφραση.
Αντιθέτως, ο θετικός χώρος κατασκευάζεται μέσω ορισμένων γεωμετρικών μορφών — κύκλοι, ωοειδή, τρίγωνα και χρωματικά επίπεδα — οργανωμένες με δομική ακρίβεια. Αυτές οι μορφές λειτουργούν ως οπτικές ενότητες που δημιουργούν ρυθμό, ιεραρχία και ισορροπία εντός της σύνθεσης.
Η συνύπαρξη υφασμένων επιφανειών και κοφτών γεωμετρικών στοιχείων θέτει σε διάλογο τη χειρονομία με τη δομή. Το χρώμα, εφαρμοσμένο σε κορεσμένα και αντίθετα επίπεδα, λειτουργεί ως οργανωτικό στοιχείο που καθοδηγεί το βλέμμα και ενισχύει τηεσωτερική δυναμική του έργου.
Στις ποικίλες σειρές μου, θίγω θέματα όπως οι ανθρώπινες σχέσεις, η μνήμη, η μετανάστευση, η πνευματικότητα και κοινωνικά ζητήματα, μεταφρασμένα σε μια αφηρημένη και συνθετική γλώσσα. Αυτές οι αναφορές δεν παρουσιάζονται κυριολεκτικά, αλλά ενσωματώνονται στη συνθετική δομή μέσω εντάσεων, ισορροπιών και συνδέσεων μεταξύ μορφών.
Το έργο μου προτείνει μια σύγχρονη γεωμετρική γλώσσα που συνδυάζει τη θεσμική αυστηρότητα με την εκφραστική ελευθερία, προσκαλεί τόσο μια分析τική ανάγνωση της σύνθεσης όσο και μια άμεση οπτική εμπειρία.

Biography:
Miriam CHiera is an Italian-Argentine contemporary artist based in Senigallia, Italy. She studied Interior Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, Argentina, and also studied art at the Verona Academy of Art, Italy.
She was born in a small town in Argentina, surrounded by vast expanses of countryside, to a family of Italian immigrant farmers. Although her roots are steeped in Italian culture, her art carries the spirit of the land where she grew up. Small marks and symbols are scattered across her canvases, interweaving cubism, constructivism and abstract geometry with the essence of her work: the language of color.
Surrounded by the immensity of nature, with infinite horizons and a deep sense of freedom, she found inspiration in large-scale creations. Although she studied Interior Design at the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, her path to painting began in her early years, it was during her residency in the city of Romeo and Juliet, where she studied at the Accademia di Arte in Verona, when she realized that painting was her true calling.
Miriam CHiera's works have been selected to be exhibited in international competitions, galleries, museums and events.

Artist Statement:
A work of art is far more than a fashionable object, a fleeting trend, or a decorative element designed to solve a spatial issue. I create paintings with the hope that they become a window through which you can tell yourself a story-where the art interacts with your life in a meaningful way.
Each piece carries its own imprint, a soul, an energy that transforms it into a living presence within your space. My aspiration is for my art to move you, to evoke a desire to possess it, to immerse yourself in its essence, and to enjoy its company each morning as you stand before it.
