Περιγραφή από τον πωλητή
Mamiya Auto-Metra 35mm fixed-lens coupled-rangefinder with fast Mamiya-Sekor F.C. 48mm f/1.7 lens and selenium meter. A solidly built 1960s Japanese rangefinder; see condition notes below.
Hello from Japan!
We provide high-quality cameras and lenses to the world.
This is a late-1950s/early-1960s Japanese 35mm fixed-lens coupled-rangefinder camera made by Mamiya Camera Co., fitted with a fast Mamiya-Sekor F.C. 48mm f/1.7 normal lens and a leaf shutter with speeds to 1/500 second. Exposure is aided by a built-in selenium light meter (no battery required) with match-needle readout, and focusing uses a coupled, parallax-corrected rangefinder. It belongs to Mamiyas Auto-Metra family, part of the companys well-regarded run of solidly built, high-specification consumer rangefinders of the period. As a battery-free selenium design it is fully mechanical, and the fast f/1.7 lens makes it an appealing classic for film photographers and collectors.
Important — please read carefully:
Please note two points: the front glass window over the selenium meter cell has a crack (cosmetic; the meter still reads correctly), and the film-advance lever occasionally needs a light nudge to return fully (a minor quirk, not a malfunction). The lens is clean and the camera is otherwise working. Please review the photos before bidding.
Condition: Used — Fair
Pre-owned and working, with the points noted below. A solidly built 1960s rangefinder offered as-is for its age.
Serial Number
Please check the photo.
Appearance
Normal signs of use for a 1960s camera. There is a crack in the front glass window (the selenium meter cell cover) on the front of the body — please see the photos.
Optical Condition
Lens / Sensor: The lens itself is clean and clear.
Functional
The leaf shutter fires and the coupled rangefinder works.
The selenium light meter responds correctly.
The film-advance lever occasionally does not spring all the way back on its own and just needs a light nudge; winding is otherwise normal.
Known Issues
1. There is a crack in the front glass window covering the selenium meter cell (please see the photos). This is cosmetic and the meter still reads correctly.
2. The film-advance lever occasionally does not return fully by itself and needs a gentle nudge. This is a minor quirk, not a malfunction — it winds and cocks normally.
