Dial and Hands
The watch features a remarkable silver pie-pan dial with a radiant sunburst finish that catches the light beautifully across its faceted outer edge. It is adorned with applied faceted baton indices featuring black inserts, matched by an applied Omega logo, script, and the signature Constellation star above six o'clock. A stepped metallic frame surrounds the date aperture at the three o'clock position. The dial condition is truly stunning, remaining exceptionally clean and virtually devoid of spotting, moisture marks, or discoloration. All printed text, including the serif typography of the chronometer certification and the Swiss Made designation at the bottom, remains crisp and fully intact. The original dauphine hands feature matching black inserts and display only faint, age-consistent oxidation visible under close inspection, preserving a highly attractive and unified aesthetic.

Case and Crystal
The 34mm stainless steel case showcases the celebrated dog-leg lug profile, a hallmark of this Constellation era. The lugs retain strong, sharp geometry with well-defined transitions between the polished upper surfaces and the brushed flanks. The smooth polished bezel sits flush against the case, framing the dial perfectly. The screw-down caseback features a crisp, highly defined Constellation observatory medallion in the center, with all eight stars clearly visible and showing only light, honest surface wear. Graded as stunning vintage condition. This Constellation has been exceptionally well-preserved over the decades. The dial is a true standout, remaining remarkably pristine for its age without the heavy patina or spotting often found on these models. The case retains strong structural integrity and sharp lines, particularly on the distinctive dog-leg lugs. Normal, light handling marks and microscopic surface scratches are present, but there are no deep gouges or signs of heavy, shape-altering polishing.
