Pre-Columbian, Southeastern Mexico, Guerrero region, Chontal culture, ca. 500-100 BCE.
Two anthropomorphic stone idols with stylized, angular bodies. They appear tanding with thick legs together, hands to their chest and the oversized head. The face has been simplified with string-cut lines - including large triangular noses.
Dimensions: 8,80 and 8,30 cm.
Condition: Excellent condition.
Provenance:
- Dutch Auction house
- Dutch private collection. Acquired in the Dutch art market between 1970's-1980's
Important: This lot can't be sold to US or Swiss buyers.

- The piece includes authenticity certificate. The piece is in process of obtaining
Spanish Export License ( Passport for European Union). This process can take between 2 and 4 weeks.

be requested by us, This process can take beteen 2 and 4 weeks.
According to Spanish legislation, items sent outside the European Union
are subject to export taxes and will be added to the invoice, at the
buyer\'s expense. These export fees are fixed on the final auction price
