Koji Kasatani (γεν. 1964) είναι ιαπωνικός καλλιτέχνης.
Μετά την αποφοίτηση από την σχολή τέχνης στη Φλωρεντία, Ιταλία,
studied I Italian ceramic techniques.
Με την επιστροφή στην Ιαπωνία, άρχισα να θέτω τον εαυτό μου σε πρόκληση για τη δημιουργία έργων που υπερβαίνουν τα όρια της κεραμικής.
Όταν βρήκα κάποια τεμάχια μπανάνας, αγαπημένα του πατέρα μου, στην κουζίνα, ήμουν πεπεισμένος ότι αυτό ήταν τέχνη, και από τότε δημιουργώ έργα με θέμα τη μπανάνα για περίπου 18 χρόνια.
