An elegant crane-neck (鶴首) vase crafted in the Takaoka Copperware (高岡銅器) tradition, signed by the artist Houun (峰雲) with a maker's mark on the base.

The vase's defining feature is the beautifully slender, elongated neck (すらりと伸びる長い首). Rising in a single graceful line, its poised silhouette draws the eye and lends the piece a refined presence wherever it is placed.

The body is covered in a marbled patina shifting between red and deep grey tones, finished with fine gilt highlighting (金彩). Depending on the angle and lighting, the surface takes on warm reddish hues or a glowing gold, offering something new to notice with every viewing.

Whether displaying a single flower or standing alone as a decorative piece, the vase's slender form adds quiet elegance to any interior space.
