Vintage Seiko 5 Actus SS automatic wristwatch, reference 6106-8680, manufactured in 1975.
This model features an attractive brown gradient dial with applied silver-tone hour markers and a day-date display at 3 o’clock. The changing tones of the dial depending on the light give the watch a distinctive 1970s vintage appearance.
It is powered by the Seiko Cal. 6106 automatic movement with 25 jewels. The day display includes both English and Japanese characters, a desirable feature among collectors of vintage Japanese Seiko watches.
The watch is currently running. The date quick-set and day quick-set functions have been tested and work correctly. Both the day and date also change correctly through a 24-hour cycle.

The watch is in good vintage condition considering its age.
The brown gradient dial retains an attractive appearance with distinctive vintage character.
There are visible scratches and signs of wear on the crystal, as shown in the photographs. The case and case back also show scratches, small marks and normal signs of use consistent with the age of the watch.
The watch is currently running and the hands can be adjusted normally.
The date quick-set and day quick-set functions have been tested and work correctly. Both the day and date also change correctly through a 24-hour cycle.
The watch is fitted with an aftermarket black leather strap and a gold-tone buckle.
