The Nikon Ai Nikkor 28mm f/3.5 is a compact, well-corrected wide-angle prime from Nikon's manual-focus F-mount line. Introduced with the Ai coupling system in 1977, it is built to Nikon's traditional all-metal standards and is known for its crisp rendering and minimal distortion. It mounts on virtually every Nikon F-mount body from the 1970s to today, and adapts easily to modern mirrorless cameras.
Mount & Compatibility
This is a native Nikon F-mount Ai-S manual-focus lens, compatible with Nikon manual and autofocus film/digital bodies that accept Ai/Ai-S lenses (stop-down or full metering depending on body). On Nikon Z mirrorless it can be used via the FTZ adapter (manual focus).
