The painting is 100% hand-painted using highly pigmented artist-grade acrylic paints, and finished with a UV-protective satin varnish. It is created on unprimed, firm, robust, and kink-resistant gallery-quality canvas (360 g/m²) without a stretcher frame.

Artwork Overview:
The coronation is over, yet no one seems to know who became king.
Five figures remain beneath a powder-blue sky, each crowned and demanding to be seen. One stares with two enormous eyes, another with only one; a third retreats behind a dark, mask-like face. Their gazes fill the canvas but never meet.
In Crown Complex, ARVY turns royalty into a contemporary fable about status, attention and the identities we perform. Lemon-yellow crowns, scraped blues, black contours and flashes of pink and green give the scene an urgent, almost live rhythm. What begins as playful slowly becomes unsettling: the crown is not proof of power, but armour against being overlooked.
Belonging to ARVY’s recurring world of crowns and watchful eyes, the painting commands a room immediately—then shifts its hierarchy the longer one lives with it.
