Περιγραφή από τον πωλητή
Scientific name: Unidentified Theropod Dinosaur Digit Toe Bone (Phalanx) and claw (possibly associated) - Likely belonging to a small-medium sized Theropod predator.
Location: Téneré Desert, Niger.
Geological Formation: Irhazer Group (likely Irhazer Fm)
Age: Middle Jurassic, Bathonian stage ( 167 million years)
Size: Digit(Phalanx): 2,8cm - Claw: 3,2cm
REF.: #S618
DESCRIPTION:
Extremely rare specimen. Possibly associated theropod digit (phalanx toe bone) and claw from the Irhazer Group (likely Irhazer Fm). It is very difficult to arrive at a precise taxonomic assignment and ID when only one isolated claw and digit is available. Be that as it may, it is a jewel worthy of the most exquisite collectors. We received these together and the size and preservation is very similar, so might be are associated, but its uncertain since we do not have proper reports from the digging location, unfortunately.
Also most part of material coming from this geological formation its still poorly studied.
All of our fossils come with a Certificate of Authenticity. Every week, the issued Certificates of Authenticity are updated in our database verification system on our website. If you find that your certificate has not yet been updated, please contact us and we will update it immediately. Display box included.
