Περιγραφή από τον πωλητή
Seiko Lord Matic (LM) — Ref. 5606-7130 — Automatic, Day-Date, 25 Jewels, Linen Dial, Kanji Day Wheel, 1969 — ΠΑΡΑΚΑΛΟΥΜΕ ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΤΕ: το γρήγορο σύστημα ημερομηνίας δεν λειτουργεί
IMPORTANT — FUNCTIONAL DEFECT
The calendar quick-set function does not work: the day and date cannot be advanced using the crown shortcut and can only be set by rotating the hands. The watch itself is running, and the day and date do change with the movement of the hands. The watch is sold AS-IS for repair or as a running vintage piece with this limitation — please bid accordingly.
Overview
A vintage Seiko Lord Matic (LM) from 1969, powered by the automatic calibre 5606 with 25 jewels. The silver-white dial has an attractive linen (fabric-weave) texture with slim applied bar indices carrying black centre lines, and a day-date window at 3 o'clock with a Japanese kanji day wheel (Sunday in red — a nice JDM touch). Cushion-shaped stainless steel case on its original Seiko LM brick-link bracelet.
Specifications
- Brand: Seiko
- Model: Lord Matic (LM) — dial signed LORD MATIC / 25 JEWELS with Suwa symbol
- Reference: 5606-7130 (dial code 5606-7310T; serial no. 9N8012 — November 1969)
- Movement: Automatic — calibre 5606, 25 jewels, day-date at 3 o'clock (calendar quickset NOT working — see note above)
- Case: Stainless steel cushion case with brushed finish; case back marked WATERPROOF / STAINLESS STEEL
- Dial: Silver-white with linen texture; kanji day wheel
- Case diameter: to be confirmed — please see photos for proportions
- Bracelet: Original Seiko LM brick-link stainless steel bracelet with signed clasp (SEIKO LM), approx. 18.5 cm wrist size as pictured
- Total weight: approx. 70.3 g
Condition
In good condition for its age, with visible signs of wear consistent with a vintage watch, and with the functional limitation described above. The dial is clean overall, with one small spot of discolouration near the outer edge at 6 o'clock. The crystal shows only light rubbing, with no chips or cracks visible. The clasp surface shows noticeable hairline scratches, and there is brown soiling/light rust-like build-up on the clasp underside and buckle area (would benefit from a clean). The bracelet links show small scratches and dulling. Please refer to the photos, which form part of the condition description.
Working order
The watch is running at the time of listing, but the calendar quickset does not work (see above). As a vintage automatic, accuracy has not been tested or guaranteed, water resistance should not be assumed, and service history is unknown.
Included
Watch only. No box or papers.
Shipping
Ships from Japan. Registered and insured shipping, mainly via DHL or FedEx.
Import duties or taxes may apply depending on the buyer's country. These charges must be paid by the buyer.
