Enoch Wedgwood “Woodland” – 8 Vintage Blue & White Plates – Made in England

A charming and beautifully decorated collection of 8 vintage Enoch Wedgwood (Tunstall) Ltd. plates in the much-loved “Woodland” pattern, made in England and dating approximately to the 1960s–1970s.

Each plate features an enchanting English countryside scene, delicately rendered in rich blue transfer decoration. The central pastoral landscape is framed by an elaborate border of flowers, leaves and foliage, creating the timeless blue-and-white appearance for which traditional English transferware is so admired.

The reverse bears the authentic “Woodland – Enoch Wedgwood (Tunstall) Ltd. – England” backstamp.

Condition

The collection is presented in good vintage condition, retaining its beautiful blue transfer decoration.

As expected with vintage ceramics of this age, there are signs of previous use and age, including glaze crazing and minor surface wear. Approximately four of the plates may have some small black dots/spotting present. These imperfections are consistent with the age and character of the pieces and can be seen in the photographs.

Despite these age-related characteristics, the set displays beautifully and retains the wonderful decorative appeal of traditional English blue-and-white transferware.
