The exceptionally clean and well-preserved silver sunburst dial is in excellent condition, showing minimal to no visible spotting or staining. It features applied indices with black inserts that remain clean and intact, perfectly complemented by matching baton hands that show only very minor signs of oxidation under magnification. All printed text is crisp and fully legible across the dial.
Case and Crystal
The stainless steel case displays honest vintage wear, with moderate surface scratches and minor dings consistent with its age and use. Its lugs retain their general shape while showing signs of previous polishing and wear. The integrated smooth steel bezel exhibits light scratches consistent with the rest of the case. On the reverse, the caseback features a clear Seamaster seahorse medallion surrounded by some scratches. The scalloped crown is signed with the Omega logo, showing moderate wear while the emblem remains clearly visible. A domed acrylic crystal protects the dial, presenting some light surface scratches visible at certain angles but free of any major cracks or chips.
