### **OTTOMAN SULTAN ABDULHAMID II TUGHRA SILVER CUP HOLDER WITH PORCELAIN LINER**

A finely crafted **late Ottoman period silver cup holder (zarf)** featuring the **tughra of Sultan Abdulhamid II**. The pierced and hand-engraved silver body is decorated with the Ottoman imperial coat of arms on one side and a detailed architectural landscape on the reverse, reflecting the refined metalwork of the period.

The original porcelain liner is decorated with an elegant geometric pattern in gold with polychrome accents, creating a beautiful contrast with the silver holder. The removable porcelain insert complements the silver mount and enhances its decorative appeal.

The silver holder weighs **17 grams** (silver weight only) and measures **5 cm** in height. It remains in good antique condition with an attractive natural patina and light wear consistent with age. Please study the photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description.

**Specifications:**

* Origin: Ottoman Empire
* Period: Reign of Sultan Abdulhamid II (1876–1909)
* Material: Silver and porcelain
* Decoration: Sultan Abdulhamid II tughra, Ottoman imperial coat of arms, architectural scene, pierced and engraved silverwork
