Detailed Description

This lot consists of two original Minitrix N scale open freight wagons that have been individually transformed into a unique Wehrmacht military supply transport set inspired by the Second World War.

Both wagons are approximately 60 mm long.

Both wagons were completely disassembled, carefully prepared, primed and individually airbrushed by hand. Historically inspired Wehrmacht colours from the WWII period were used throughout the project. Since every wagon was individually painted and finished by hand, no two wagons are identical. Each wagon is a unique piece.

The set includes two open freight wagons carrying a varied military supply load consisting of:
• Large wooden transport crates
• Smaller wooden crates and military supply cases
• Ammunition boxes
• Large artillery shells transported in wooden crates
• Barrels and drums
• Wooden pallets and additional military supplies

All crates, ammunition boxes, artillery shells, barrels, pallets and accessories were designed by me and produced using a high-quality 3D printer. Every single part was individually cleaned, primed, hand painted and permanently installed.

All 3D-printed models and components—including military vehicles, tanks, weapons, rockets, equipment and accessories—were designed and produced in N scale (1:160). Particular attention was given to maintaining proportions appropriate to the 1:160 scale throughout the project.

The wooden surfaces, crates, pallets and all additional details were individually painted and assembled by hand. The arrangement of the cargo was created separately for each wagon, giving both models their own individual appearance and character.

All DR markings, Balkenkreuz markings and other decals were individually applied by hand. After completion, every wagon and every detail was protected with a clear matte varnish to preserve the finish for many years.

This project is my own individual interpretation inspired by WWII military railway transport. It is not intended to represent or reproduce any specific historical train, transport or documented configuration exactly. The camouflage, markings, cargo arrangement and overall composition are individually designed to create a historically inspired but unique model.

The original wagons used for this project were carefully selected and were in excellent condition before the conversion. They were complete and undamaged, with all buffers and couplings present.

The cargo and all accessories are permanently fixed to the wagons and are not intended to be removed.

Both wagons were individually assembled, inspected and tested on the track after completion. The complete set rolls smoothly and operates correctly behind a locomotive.

This is not a simple repaint of ready-made models. Each wagon underwent a complete hand-finishing process involving preparation, priming, painting, assembly, decal application and final protective coating.

The entire project—from the original concept, through the design and printing of the 3D parts, painting, assembly, decal application and final varnishing—was carried out entirely by me.

Many hours of careful manual work were invested in creating this collection. It is not a factory-produced set but an original handcrafted project, making it a true one-of-a-kind collector’s item.

Please handle the models with care. Although all painted surfaces and details have been protected with a clear matte varnish, the handcrafted finish and individually installed details are more delicate than those found on factory-produced models. The wagons remain fully functional for use on an N scale layout.

Condition Note

Please note that the condition is listed as Near Mint solely because this project was created using original Minitrix wagons that were not factory-new. Carefully selected wagons in excellent condition were used as the foundation for this project. All hand-finished paintwork, 3D-printed components, detailing, decals and the final protective coating are entirely new and were created specifically for this unique set.

Packaging

The original boxes are not included. The complete set will be carefully and securely packed to ensure maximum protection during transport.
