The watch is powered by the original Longines Calibre 431 automatic movement with 17 jewels. This renowned Ultra-Chron high-frequency movement operates at 36,000 vibrations per hour (5 Hz), an important technical achievement in Longines watchmaking history.

The inside of the case is marked Longines, reference 7832-3, “Lunette Plaqué Or G 20 Microns”, indicating 20-micron gold plating, with a stainless-steel back. The exterior case back features the characteristic Longines Ultra-Chron emblem.
