This is an authentic, original, one-of-a-kind Japanese production douga created by studio artists and used in the production of the popular anime series Lupin the Third.
The drawing features Daisuke Jigen, Lupin’s trusted partner and an exceptionally skilled marksman. Jigen is one of the franchise’s most iconic and enduring characters.
As an original douga, this drawing was created during the clean-up and in-between stages of the traditional animation process. It refined the movement and details established in the genga and helped guide the creation of the corresponding animation cel.
A Certificate of Registration will be included with your purchase.
The douga has been carefully inspected by our specialists, and its details have been registered in the Japanime Art Gallery Online Archive. After purchase, you can access and verify its archive record at any time by searching for the unique registration number shown on the certificate.
Please note that this is an original production item. Despite careful storage, production related wear or other minor imperfections may be present. Buyers are strongly encouraged to examine all images carefully before bidding.
