Vintage SEIKO Type II quartz wristwatch, reference 8223-5010.
This distinctive late-1970s Japanese quartz watch features a rounded-square case and a dark green/black dial with applied baton hour markers. A practical day-date display is positioned at 3 o’clock, giving the watch the characteristic functional styling of SEIKO’s Type II series.
The case measures approximately 35.2 mm excluding the crown.
The battery was replaced in August 2026, and the watch is currently running.
The watch is fitted with a black rubber strap. The case, crystal, case back, and other exterior parts show scratches, scuffs, discoloration, and other signs of age and previous use. Please carefully review all photographs for the exact cosmetic condition.
The day/date display is visible and functioning at the time of photography.
As this is a vintage watch, the original water resistance cannot be guaranteed and the watch has not been pressure-tested.
A characteristic vintage SEIKO quartz model with strong 1970s styling and an attractive Type II dial design.
