Offered for auction is a vintage German tambour mantel clock manufactured by the renowned maker Franz Hermle.
This item is being sold strictly as a donor for spare parts or as a restoration project.
Technical Specifications & Details:
- Manufacturer: Franz Hermle (Germany)
- Movement Model: 340-020A (8-day, spring-driven key-wind mechanism)
- Production Year: 1983 (Stamped with the year code "P")
- Jewels: Two (2) Jewels integrated into the floating balance escapement
- Chime: 5-hammer Westminster chime system striking on 5 bronze rod gongs (plays quarterly and strikes the hourly count)
