Famous beautifully hand-colored map of Northern Europe and centered on Poland by Hartmann Schedel First Latin edition, with text colophon and date on verso, published just one year after Columbus’s first voyage, in 1493.

This incunable map is the first modern map of northern and central Europe.

From the Latin edition of the Incunable "Liber Chronicarum" by Hartman Schedel, 1493.

Dimensions: 39 x 57,5 cm (woodcut), 42 x 60,5 cm (paper)

Good condition, some light spots, old restorations in middle fold and in white margin. See foto's for better impression.
