The Canon Autoboy Tele, sold as the Sure Shot Tele outside Japan, is a dual-focal-length 35mm compact offering a 40mm f/2.8 wide setting and a 70mm f/4.9 telephoto at the touch of a button, along with autofocus, motorised film transport and a built-in flash. This example is the Quartz Date version with a soft-filter effect setting.

Functional
The camera operates properly — autofocus, shutter, film transport, flash and the date back all work.
Auto-exposure reads close to accurate: about +0.8 EV at EV12 and +0.5 EV at EV15.

Measured Performance
We check these cameras on a shutter tester rather than by ear, and we publish what we measured:
- Light meter accuracy — EV12: 0.8 OVER / EV15: 0.5 OVER
Negative film has enough latitude to absorb deviations of this size, but the figures are here so you can judge for yourself.

Shipping
We ship via either FedEx or Japan Post (ePacket), whichever suits the destination and the parcel. With Japan Post your package is handed over to the local postal carrier in your country for final delivery.
